Unterföhring, 24.06.2026. SevenVentures, the investment arm of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, is taking a stake in the Munich-based mobility company FINN as part of a media-for-equity deal. The investment comprises a gross media volume in the mid double-digit millions and supports the company’s further growth through a customised media package, which provides FINN with significant advertising reach.

The investment is being made as part of the current Series D funding round, in which FINN is raising around 100 million euros in new equity. With a valuation of over one billion euros, the company has thus achieved 'unicorn' status. SevenVentures is contributing its many years of experience in strategic brand building and will support FINN as a growth partner in its continued scaling.

With an annualised recurring revenue (ARR) of over 300 million euros, FINN is one of Europe’s fastest-growing mobility companies. Since its foundation in 2019, the company has become the leading provider of car subscription services in Germany. With flexible contract terms and a fully digital offering, FINN aims to significantly simplify access to personalised mobility. The car subscription packages already include all taxes, insurance and maintenance costs for the subscription vehicles, so users do not have to deal with these costs. The current funding round, led by Portage, has raised just under 100 million euros in new equity, as well as 40 million in debt financing from BC Partners Credit and Runway Growth Capital.

With this investment, SevenVentures is strengthening its position as a growth partner for digital business models in the consumer market. By combining TV advertising with the ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s digital channels, SevenVentures helps companies to rapidly build reach and scale their brands sustainably.

The Munich-based company develops oral care products with the aim of making oral hygiene high-quality, modern and sustainable. With this investment, happybrush aims to reach the next stage of scaling up. As part of this, record-breaking national football goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is joining the company as a strategic partner and will become the new face of the brand. The collaboration is accompanied by a cross-media campaign, which also includes a TV advert on the ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s channels.

Since its foundation in 2016, happybrush GmbH has been developing oral care products that combine quality, design and social responsibility. Its multi-award-winning product range covers all customer needs, ranging from electric toothbrushes for adults and children to toothpaste, dental floss, mouthwashes and interdental brushes. The company has already sold 25 million products and is now aiming to take the next step towards the mass market.

SevenVentures’ media investment guarantees the start-up high visibility over the long term across the ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s linear channels and digital platforms. Unterföhring, March 26, 2026. ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE is divesting the comparison platforms billiger-mietwagen.de and CamperDays. Billiger-mietwagen.de, which operates under the umbrella of FLOYT Mobility GmbH, is being traded to a group led by the investment firm Pivotum Capital, while CamperDays is being transferred to a group of private investors. Last week, ProSiebenSat.1 had already sold the marketing firms esome and Kairion to Pivotum Capital.

billiger-mietwagen.de is a price comparison and booking platform for rental cars, while CamperDays offers the same service for motorhomes and campervans. Both brands were previously part of ProSiebenSat.1’s Commerce &amp; Ventures segment and will be transferred in full to the new owners as part of the transaction. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The transaction is expected to close at the end of April. The portfolio changes have already been factored into the 2026 annual outlook, which the Group is also publishing today.

The transaction of the wholly owned subsidiary from the Commerce &amp; Ventures segment is structured as an asset deal, under which the wetter.com workforce will transfer to the new owner through a transfer of operations. ProSiebenSat.1 thus strengthens its strategic focus on its core Entertainment business and continues its active portfolio management to create value for the entire Group through the disposal of investments. Co-founder Irene Klemm impressed the jury, that consisted of Sherin Maruhn (VC investor and business angel), Marlena Hien (co-founder of Bears with Benefits), Claire Siegert (CEO of Businettes Germany), Michael Kibele (CEO of New Com) and Florian Weber (Managing Director of SevenVentures), with her pitch and won media services from ProSiebenSat.1 for a moving image campaign worth €3 million and her own TV commercial. In an exciting first semi-final match, EDURINO prevailed over Evela Health and co-founder Eva-Maria Meijnen's pitch after a split decision with three votes to two from the jury. Evela Health operates a digital platform developed by doctors that supports millions of women going through menopause with personalized therapy plans, expert guidance and AI-powered analytics. The second semi-final was won by founder Benedict Kurz with his AI learning companion for schoolchildren, Knowunity, against HEY HOLY, a brand for breed-specific dog food, again after a close vote of three to two.

In the grand finale between EDURINO and Knowunity, Irene Klemm's presentation impressed the five-member jury the most. After the two-minute semi-final pitches, both competitors had only one minute each to summarize their business idea and the vision behind their start-up. EDURINO, which Irene Klemm founded in 2021 together with Franziska Steiner, will now be featured in a TV commercial as part of an extensive campaign on ProSiebenSat.1 channels. The company specializes in introducing preschool and primary school children to digital learning in a responsible and playful way. The start-up operates a digital play and learning system that works with a combination of tactile figurines, ergonomic pens and a secure, ad-free app, and was developed by speech therapists, primary school teachers and educators.

Evela Health had already secured its place in the final in July by winning a SevenVentures wild card at Businettes' Female Founders Summit in Munich. The four up-and-coming B2C start-ups will compete against each other on 21 October 2025 at the New Com Summit in Munich's Wappenhalle, where the lucrative competition will be held for the second time in a row.

Evela Health operates a digital platform developed by doctors that closes a key gap in care for women with the help of personalised therapy plans, expert support and AI-assisted analyses. The company's goal is to help millions of women in mid-life who suffer from untreated symptoms of menopause feel better and age healthily.

EDURINO specialises in introducing preschool and primary school children to digital learning in a responsible and playful way. The start-up operates a digital play and learning system that combines haptic figures, ergonomic pens and a secure, ad-free app, and was developed by speech therapists, primary school teachers and educators.

In 2022, HEY HOLY entered the market as Europe's first brand for breed-specific dog food. The winners of SevenVentures Pitch Day can once again look forward to a lucrative prize in 2025: media services for a moving image campaign worth €3 million and their own TV commercial. This year, the four companies will have to prove themselves to a renowned jury consisting of Sherin Maruhn (VC investor and business angel), Marlena Hien (co-founder of Bears with Benefits), Claire Siegert (CEO of Businettes Germany), Michael Kibele (CEO of New Com) and Florian Weber (managing director of SevenVentures). The media group has acquired the remaining 10.1% of shares in Jochen Schweizer mydays Holding GmbH held by founder Jochen Schweizer via Jochen Schweizer Beteiligungs GmbH since ProSiebenSat.1 initially took a stake in the company in 2017. Based on former contracts the media company has now exercised the existing purchase option to transfer the founder's remaining stake to itself and now owns 100% of the shares in the provider of vouchers for special experiences. With the full acquisition of the subsidiary, ProSiebenSat.1 gains further flexibility for the future direction of Jochen Schweizer mydays.

ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE today announced a series of strategic measures which will further simplify its Group structure, enhance financial flexibility, and increase focus on the company’s core Entertainment business. Successful sale of Verivox to Moltiply marks important strategic milestone ProSiebenSat.1 today signed a binding agreement with a subsidiary of Moltiply Group S.p.A. for the sale of Verivox which is expected to close still today. The sale of Verivox marks a significant milestone in ProSiebenSat.1's strategy to focus on its Entertainment business and to strengthen its financial basis. The sale is based on an equity value of approx. EUR 232 million for Verivox. Additionally, the agreement includes an earn-out component of up to a further EUR 60 million (of which up to EUR 43 million is attributable to ProSiebenSat.1) which depends on reaching certain earnings targets in the 2025 financial year. The Verivox sale and the expected cash inflows from the sale of two minority stakes from the SevenVentures portfolio will reduce ProSiebenSat.1's net debt by more than EUR 250 million – even excluding the earn-out component – and reduce the pro forma leverage ratio to slightly above 2.4x in 2024. Proceeds will be used to prepay Term Loans due April 2027. With this, ProSiebenSat.1 is well on track to reach its targeted leverage ratio of 1.5x to 2.5x over the medium term. The intention is to accelerate ProSiebenSat.1's transformation to an Entertainment focused company. The consideration for the acquisition includes, amongst others, a cash component of EUR 10 million, the transfer of approx. 5.9 million ProSiebenSat.1 treasury shares (corresponding to approx. 2.5% of the company’s share capital and to a current market value of approx. EUR 38 million) to General Atlantic, as well as a fixed exit participation for General Atlantic in the amount of EUR 50 million payable upon an exit of ProSiebenSat.1 from the ParshipMeet Group. In addition, General Atlantic will participate alongside ProSiebenSat.1 in proceeds (if any) from a pending litigation of NuCom Group vis-à-vis a third party; possible claims from such litigation are not yet reflected in ProSiebenSat.1’s accounts. The transaction with General Atlantic will be subject to following conditions: Closing of the Verivox sale, which is expected to occur today, and confirmation of the underlying valuation by an independent expert. Flaconi sales process continues As part of its strategy to focus on the Entertainment segment, ProSiebenSat.1 remains committed to selling online beauty retailer flaconi. Going forward, General Atlantic will hold its 28.4% minority stake in flaconi directly and not, as currently, indirectly through NuCom Group. ProSiebenSat.1 will maintain a 71.6% majority stake in flaconi, along with an additional preferred and interest-bearing equity stake of approx. EUR 95 million (as of year-end of 2024). With this transaction, ProSiebenSat.1 will become solely responsible for the ongoing divestment process. With the agreements, ProSiebenSat.1 will have full control and flexibility over the strategic direction of the NuCom Group, flaconi and ParshipMeet Group businesses, including divestment decisions for all assets. In terms of adjusted EBITDA, the Group anticipates an amount of EUR 520 million with a variance of plus/minus EUR 50 million (previous year: EUR 557 million). The Group’s adjusted net income will reflect the development of adjusted EBITDA and is expected to amount to around EUR 215 million in financial year 2025. Prior to the adjustment, the 2025 financial outlook included Group revenues of around EUR 4.00 billion with a variance of plus/minus EUR 150 million, an adjusted EBITDA of EUR 550 million with a variance of plus/minus EUR 50 million and an adjusted net income of around EUR 225 million. The Group continues to target a leverage ratio of between 2.5x and 3.0x at the end of 2025 (previous year: 2.7x). This considers both the adjusted EBITDA and the reduction in net debt due to the sale of Verivox. The food tech company has made it its mission to establish a plant-based diet as the norm in society. It sells products based on pea protein via its own online store, in bricks-and-mortar stores and to restaurant partners, including vegan cooked ham, vegan Leberkäse, vegan Wiener sausages and vegan meatballs. The founders and managing directors Thomas Isermann and Hannes-Benjamin Schmitz have already attracted prominent investors such as TV presenter Joko Winterscheidt, professional footballer Thomas Müller and Holger Beeck, ex-German head of McDonalds. The Munich-based company's product range is now available at more than 14,200 retailers, including Rewe, Edeka, Müller, Kaufland, Tegut, Globus and Hit.

BettaF!sh by Deniz Ficicioglu is fighting against overfishing of the oceans and the environmental impact of the fishing industry with its plant-based fish alternatives made from seaweed and plant proteins. In the end, BettaF!sh secured victory and advanced to the final with a score of 3:2.

In the second duel, The Female Company faced Plantura. The Female Company was represented by Ann-Sophie Claus. She founded the FemCare company in 2018 with Sinja Stadelmaier to remove the taboos surrounding menstruation and support women with sustainable and safe feminine hygiene products such as organic tampons and washable period underwear. Opposite them were Melissa Raupach and Felix Lill, two founders of Plantura. The young company offers plants and matching environmentally friendly care products online in order to reduce the use of chemicals, promote natural alternatives and simplify gardening at home. With a 4:1 vote, The Female Company won the battle and secured its place in the final.

The Female Company wins EUR 3 million media budget at SevenVentures Pitch Day 2024

Unterföhring, October 2, 2024. The participants of this year's SevenVentures Pitch Day have been announced: The Female Company, NeoTaste, Plantura and BettaF!sh have prevailed in a high-quality field of applicants and convinced the internal selection committee of SevenVentures, the investment arm of Pro- SiebenSat.1. The four ambitious start-ups will compete against each other in the final on October 15, 2024 at the New Com Summit in Munich's Wappenhalle.

The Female Company specializes in feminine hygiene, sells natural period products from period underwear to organic tampons and is also committed to removing the social taboo surrounding menstruation. On the NeoTaste app, food enthusiasts can discover new restaurants in almost 50 cities in Germany, Austria, the UK and the Netherlands and receive exclusive discounts and offers, which also helps catering businesses to attract new customers. The Munich-based company Plantura offers environmentally friendly products for sustainable gardening in order to reduce the use of chemicals and promote natural alternatives. In addition to selling plants, seeds, organic fertilizers and pesticides, Plantura also operates an extensive knowledge platform with instructions and tips on gardening and plant care. BettaF!sh develops plant-based fish alternatives from seaweed and plant proteins. The innovative products TU-NAH and SAL-NOM, which replace smoked salmon and tuna, have an impressive flavour and texture and help to reduce overfishing in the oceans and the environmental impact of the fishing industry.

The winner of the SevenVentures Pitch Day 2024 can look forward to a lucrative prize: media services for a moving image campaign worth EUR 3 million and their own TV advert. To win, the companies must prove themselves in front of an expert jury, present their business model to an audience at the New Com Summit and the viewers of the live stream on Joyn and go through a semi-final and final round: In addition to SevenVentures Managing Director Florian Weber, Jason Modemann (Co-Founder Mawave), Alexandra Szarmach (CHRO and Managing Director flaconi), Boris Hardi (CEO Oonique) and Sophia Tran (CEO Spotlight!) will decide which of the four companies' pitches they consider to be the most convincing.

Who will follow in the footsteps of the 2022 winner, Bears with Benefits, will be decided on October 15, from 5:45 p.m. at the New Com Summit in the Wappenhalle at Konrad-Zuse-Platz 7 in Munich. Experienced ProSieben presenter Steven Gätjen, who is an investor himself and has a great deal of enthusiasm for the start-up scene, will guide viewers through the exciting evening. For the first time, the SevenVentures Pitch Day will also be streamed live free of charge on Joyn.
